Gosh I love this family so much! Sweet Sadie Kate is beautiful and I loved getting to meet her for the first time. Mason and Holly are past clients of ours. Outdoor Mothers Day Mini Photo Session Chico California - Little Brandt
This past weekend, I photographed a handful of Motherhood photography session here in Chico. This was one of the session I’ve done in the past few weeks. I plan on offering these motherhood session in the future because they were so fun. Beyond the joy I felt, I truly feel these sessions are so important to have captured. As momma’s we are often the ones behind the camera capturing the moments of our children. We often forget to get in front of the camera and be IN the photos with our kiddos.

It is always such a pleasure meeting people for a maternity session and then months or weeks later seeing them with a beautiful baby in their arms. We hiked all throughout Bidwell Park and had the most amazing sunny weather for their session.

Summer Chico Maternity Photographer - Merlette Baby Boy
Baby boy Merlette will be here before we know and I’m so excited for Scott and Bonnie to meet him! His arrival is greatly anticipated and I know will forever change these two for the better. It is hard to put into words what happens when a parent experiences holding their baby for the first time. It is a love like no other. From one parent to another, I cannot wait for these two to experience that joy.
